Container Trades Statistics data shows that seaborne container trade for January 2025 was up 5.8% year-on-year. Generally, the individual trade lane situation was positive, with rises in thirty-two routes and declines in seventeen. The only overall lanes that ended in the red were North American (-7.6%) and sub-Saharan Africa exports (-1.1%).
