Greece’s Capital group is widely reported to have exercised two options that have increased the number of 8,800 TEU vessels it has ordered at HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (for the HD Hyundai Samho yard) to six. The original four were part of a total order for eighteen ships (also including 8x 2,800 TEU and 6x 1,800 TEU) placed at HD KSOE in April (see DL 18/25).
