CMA CGM revises intra Med connections

CMA CGM will extend its East Med-North Africa TULYB service with the addition of Malta, Izmit (Gebze) and Benghazi, according to Alphaliner. To compensate for the extra sailing time, the fleet will increase by two units to four ships of around 2,500 TEU, calling: Aliaga, Gemlik, Istanbul (Ambarli), Izmit (Gebze), Piraeus, Alexandria, Malta, Benghazi, Misurata and back to Aliaga.

Simultaneously, CMA CGM has put a stop to another East Med-North Africa service, WEMED2. This operation covered: Alexandria, Port Said, Malta, Algiers and back to Alexandria.
